If you're paid a 100 million to marry an ugly, short, annoying and disabled woman, would you do so? She was the only one who would break a spell and free some dignitaries from becoming inanimate objects but she had to do the impossible.
What's that impossible task and did she chose to do the impossible?

Beauty and the Beast
There was lived a king in a mighty castle deep. He was known for his uniqueness, handsomest and great wealth. He was a prince who lived with subordinates. He was unselfish and kind and once summoned people in the village to bring in the most beautiful thing and people into his castle.
While the ball was going on, an old woman entered the castle to seek for Shelter. She offered the prince a rose as a gift to allow her in but the prince was deceived by her outward appearance and turn her gift and her away.
The old woman warned him not to be deceived by outward appearances but he refute. In no time, the old woman became an enchantress and transformed the prince to a beast despite the apologies because he didn't have love in his heart. The rose left as an enchanted rose. If all its petals fall off and the beast doesn't learn to love someone and be loved, he'll forever remain a beast.

The spell wasn't casted on him alone but to all his subordinates and the castle itself. The castle remained in darkness and hidden because of that spell. Who would learn to love a beast and break the spell?
There is this beautiful lady called Belle in a certain village. She was the most beautiful woman everyone could imagine that's why she was named Belle.

All her contemporaries loved her because of her beauty, intelligence and kindness. There was also a certain named Gaston who everyone lady admired in the village. Gaston was after belle's acceptance to his marriage proposal but belle refuted such proposal. One fine morning, belle's father headed to the forest to fetch woods for his inventions.
On his way to the woods, a pack of wolves attacked him not until he seek shelter in the castle where he saw strange things. He couldn't bear it anymore and he fled the castle. On his way, he was stopped by a ferocious beast who took him in as a prisoner.
The horse belle's father Maurice came with ran towards belle at home and belle took decisive actions to look for her father. Haven found him in the castle, she opted to replace him and it was done that way. Belle was seriously upset as she didn't want to be part of that castle and even tried fleeing.

She observed something different about the beast and that was the beginning of their closeness. She treated his sounds and the played together, danced, read books together and ate together. The beast wasn't like a real beast. He was kind, loving and gentle.

Back then in the village, Maurice was labeled a mad man for saying belle had been captured by a beast since he didn't have proof. One night, the beast out of love for belle freed her to her father giving her a magical mirror to look back at him anytime.
On arriving, she saw her father being caged like a wayward dog in a wagon. She tried explaining how truthful her father was about the beast using the magical mirror but all efforts seemed futile.
She was caged too with her father as the villagers headed by Gaston went to the castle to kill the beast. Gaston felt belle might have loved the beast that why he was furious.
On arriving the castle, those inanimate dignitaries proved stubborn by attacking the villagers who came to attack them while Gaston headed for the beast. Those dignitaries attacked them until they fled. The beast didn't want to fly the handle after being challenged and shot by Gaston.
While in the wagon, an inanimate dignitary helped belle escaped as she headed to the palace to save the prince. On seeing belle, the beast became elated and stood his grounds.
He was happy belle came back to him but unfortunately, Gaston shot the beast to his fate and Gaston too faced his fate after shooting the beast. Belle wept over the beast and expressed her love for him in words and actions.

Before expressing her love for the beast, the last petal fell and all those inanimate dignitaries because that nature forever not until the old woman who casted the spell came and broke it after seeing that the beast loves belle and she does too in return.

The spell was broken and everyone turned back to how they were. The castle was filled with happiness and joy. The prince married Belle and they lived happily ever after.
Moral lessons
We shouldn't be deceived by someone's outward appearance because we don't really know for a fact what that person is.
The man's selfishness and lovelessness was one of the reasons he acted that way and was punished
We should always be nice to others even when we are unjustly treated or manhandled.
We shouldn't allow the riches, wealth and fame of this world make us selfish and unkind that we react negatively even to small things. ..
We shouldn't rush into marriage because we have seen the most handsome and beautiful girl or that this man or woman has fame and riches. Marriage shouldn't be by force especially when the other party doesn't agree to it.
We should always learn to live and lead with love.
Thanks for this wonderful review. Arrogance and lovelessness can cause more harm than good. The prince concentrated on the outward appearance and that made him to receive an urgly transformation. The movie is really filled with emotions. I will like to watch it again because it's been long I did.

Lovely review.
What makes it even more outstanding is its didacticness. Apart from the theme of romance the story contains important lessons like the ones you have deduce. Like Beauty, people should learn to live life "one kind act at a time". If we show love to others always, we can restore the Beasts before the pedal of their roses die off.
