Good morning steemians.. I'm back to the food Challenge. There's this user that sometimes Challenge me he when it comes to food. What I have in hand to participate in this contest is no unlikely stuff. It's a normal delicacy.. I prepared Jollof Rice and ate it with banana and groundnut.

PREPARATION

I didn't actually did much because cooking Jollof rice is a 45 minutes task for me. I couldn't snap the ingredients due to certain Conditions and my haste in Preparing the meal for family.

Ingredients

• 5 cups of Rice
• Sachet Tomatoes
• Groundnut oil
• Spices
• Onion, Maggi and cooked fish
• Crayfish
• Banana
• Groundnut and the likes

• I first of all measured 5 cups of rice and put into a big pot. I washed the rice twice to clear some filtrates and impurities.

• After washing twice, I filter the rice and put back inside the pot and added water to be a little bit above the rise.

• After parboiling the rice, I filtered the water out and added salt to the rice to make it tasty.

• I then carried my washed, prepared Ingredients and empty inside a bowl. I put sliced onions, ginger, tumeric, spices I bought, tomatoes and pepper.. I then carried a dry frying pan and heated it with oil for some minutes. When the oil was hot, I added the ingredients into the oil and allowed for some minutes.

• After doing so, I used a spoon and scoup the sauce from the pan into the pot of rice and then I added water to level.

• I then heated heat and added some spices and waited for some minutes for it to dry. After drying, I served it hot for family members.
