Hello Steemians, @steemkids and verified kids in this vaunted community. It's a pleasure Creating such in this community as kids, kid lovers and the rest will learn not just from how to make it but the style. My Facebook page Dolce Amore designers really depicts such as we are sewing Italian breed and issuing out to customers. Journey with me as I show you how to make Shirt, Tie and suit with just a Cardboard paper and ruler for measurement.
Apparatus/Tools/ Materials used for the Art
- Cardboard paper
- White sheet of paper
- Metre Rule
- Marker
- Pencil for marking points
Steps in making a Shirt
- To make a shirt, you need a sheet of an exercise book or plain sheet to Carry it out. Measure the length 15cm using your ruler and then 10cm on the width so that the shirt won't be too big for the suit..
- After measuring and cutting the unwanted part using your ruler, you then fold the paper to align at both ends. After folding it, you open it and make a fold on both sides to touch the middle line..
- After folding, you then fold the top of the paper outwards. After folding outwards, you then fold both sides using their edges, ensuring the tip touches the line and also touches each other. After doing that, you take the paper from the bottom and fold it up to touch the collar. Ensure you put the paper inside the open collar. Once you are done doing that, you strengthen it and then, you are done with your shirt.
Steps to make a tie
- Before making a tie, measure 5cm on both length and breadth of your cardboard paper and mark the points. Carve it out with your meter rule and start working on it.
- Fold the from one edge down to the other edge. Ensure it aligns. After folding, you open it and fold both sides from the head to touch the middle line.
- Once it touches the middle line, you turn the paper to the back side and make a little fold from the head downwards. Fold it in twice, taking the fold up. After folding, turn the paper to the other side and fold from both sides, ensuring the folds touches the middle line.
- After folding, you take the protruded part from the top of your tie and put it inside the hole of your shirt to fit it..
Steps in making an Italian paper suit.
- Before making a suit, you need to carry out measurements. Measure 21cm on both the length and width of your cardboard paper and then carve it out. Fold the bottom of the paper inwards and then fold the paper to join.
- After folding, you open it and fold both sides to touch the middle line. Bend the paper, ensuring that there's a little gap between one top and another as shown in the picture.
- After doing that, you turn to the back of the paper and fold both sides in to touch the middle line. After folding both sides in, you put your finger inside the hole of one fold, open it and spread it. Do same with the other fold. After doing that, you turn to the back of the paper and fold both sides to meet the line that looks like the hand of the suit. After doing so, you turn to the front side of the suit and fold the bridges, on both sides to meet each other. Once you are done with that, you have your perfectly fitted suit. You then carry the shirt and tie and fit it inside the suit.
So you can actually do same. The processes are not complicated at all. Just follow the steps or better still, the pictures.
