Thediarygame for (Sunday, 25th February): My Day In Words and Pictures

Sunday being the 25th of February is what I want to share with you all about how my day was, as a Catholic this lenten season have not been easy for us and we are also meditating on the suffering of our Lord Jesus christ. This is a period we should be very closer to God than ever. Below, I will tell you all about how my day was.

Attending Morning Mass, And Blessing A Bike

Glory he to God we have been given a residence priest who is a soldier and things will now be going well for us.
As usual we waited for about 1 hours before our mass that was scheduled for 6 am stated and people were complaining but when the reverend arrived he told us that his Car developed fault along the way and we forgive him and the mass started.

He talked to us about our spiritual lives and that we should try and fast during this period of lent because it's very important that we feel the suffering that Jesus went for our sake.

Fasting is not all about abstaining from food, but also abstaining ourselves from bad behaviour and things that makes us happy we should try and reduce it so we can feel the pain and suffering of our Lord Jesus christ.
I really enjoyed the mass, but it was a bit boring because we as Catholics are doing our lenten observations, so there's no playing of drums of instruments.

Blessing A Bike

One of my friends who is an okada rider bought a new bike, and after mass, he called us to come and celebrate with him and also joined hands with the priest to pray for his new bike.
Despite the economy and hardship, he still managed to acquire a new bike, and our church members congratulated him because it's not easy.

The deacon prayed for him and also asked God to grant him his heart desire and also protect him anywhere he went with the bike, we were all happy, and after everything, we went home.

I came back home very tired and I ate my lunch and had some rest.
In the evening I went to a football centre to watch my favourite team Chelsea Football Club and it was a very ugly experience for me as they defeated us.
But overall, it was a good day for and thank you for reading through.
