Writing contest: Corruption, can it be prevented? How?
1. Bribery:
This happens when someone gives money or gifts to someone in power to get special treatment or favors. For illustration, giving plutocrat to a police officer to avoid a business ticket.2. Embezzlement:
This is when someone in a trusted position steals plutocrat or property for their own benefit. For case, if someone working in a bank takes plutocrat from people's accounts for themselves.3. Nepotism:
This occurs when people in power favor their family or musketeers in making opinions or giving jobs, rather of considering merit or qualifications.4. Fraud:
This involves deceiving others for particular gain. It could be through lying, forging documents, or misrepresenting information to gain plutocrat or benefits unlawfully.1. No proper system of rights and authorities:
When there are no proper checks and balances, people in power can fluently engage in loose practices without being held responsible.2. Poverty and inequality:
When people struggle to meet their introductory requirements, they may resort to corruption as a means to survive or ameliorate their living conditions.3. Weak legal and judicial systems:
If the laws aren't executed effectively, loose individualities can exploit loopholes and escape discipline.4. Cultural factors:
In some societies, corruption may be considered normal or respectable, leading to its perpetuation through generations.5. Lack of education and mindfulness:
When people aren't sure of the negative impacts of corruption or their rights, they may come more likely to engaging in doing the wrong deeds.1. Giving responsibilites:
It's important to have transparent systems and processes where people in power are held responsible for their conduct and opinions.2. Strengthening institutions:
creating strong institutions with clear rules and regulations, and giving them independence from political interference, can help combat corruption.3. Educating the larger population:
Promoting education about the dangerous goods of corruption and raising mindfulness about people's rights can empower individualities to stand against corruption.I contribute in reducing corruption by being honest, following rules, and reporting any suspicious conditioning witness to a trusted grown-up or authority figure. By setting a good illustration and promoting fairness, I feel i can inspire others to do the same.
Steemit, a decentralized social media platform, has taken several measures to help corruption. The platform uses different tools and techniques to find out and punish those people, making it difficult to manipulate or loose the system. also, Steemit has community guidelines and chairpersons who cover and remove any content that is seen engaging in fraudulent activities.Moderators on Steemit also promote ethical guidelines and update the process of finding and tackling the corrupt actitivies.
The steemit platform has an active team that works day and night. This team uses advance technology to make sure that no act of wrong doing gets uncaught. And when such people are caught; first they are given the warnings and on repeated mistakes those accounts are banned. The users with the low ratings are not voted in future and so the user gets their fair share for the wrong they did to the platform.
