Week #6 Begins: Draw a Cat😺||25 Steem Prize to be won
Hello friends, get to be with you all once more. This is another week of arts challenge after drawing dog last week.
This week, we are going to draw a cat.

We just need few items to do that. This includes a cardboard paper, pencils both black and coloured, eraser and pen.
The steps taken to draw the cat are shown below in these pictures.

Describe a cat
A cat is a domesticated specie of the cats family. It is a carnivorous animal. It possesses such characteristics like having a fur, which is usually soft, a soft snout and claws that are retractable. Many people keep it as a pet at home or as a rat hunter in the house. They have several breeds with unique body colours. They also have whiskers close to their snouts and at the back of the legs.
What do you like about a cat?
Cats are generally beautiful in appearance. and can be loved by anybody due to its seeming quietness. They are very swift in nature and can be able to jump like five times its height. A cat also have a total of 18 toes which is only most unique to it. If you want to sleep, have a cat as a pet. It sleeps around 13-16 hours in a day.
They can also act as pets at home, and can act tenderly towards its owners when playing with them. Its sight in the night is a thing to behold. They drive pests away from the house.
They do not cost a lot to maintain, always quiet around the house and always keeps itself busy unlike the dogs.
Have you seen one before? If yes, where?.
Yes, I have seen cats before. I have seen those owned by family friends and sometimes, on the street moving around freely.
Are they important to man?
They help humans to lower their stress and anxiety. Just playing around with them after a bad day can do this magic.
Having cats around can help to also improve our cardiovascular health. They stand less chances of suffering stroke disease.
Cats themselves are also known to be allergens. So when a child comes into contact with cats very early in his life, the child develops an immune system which can combat with any allergies whatsoever.
Cats are also great companions. They can help a person to eliminate feelings of loneliness.
I have seen a cat that started associating with a another cat outside of its home, and eventually left home.
However, from time to time, it always comes back to the home of the original owner, even bringing the kids home to show it's former mistress after birth. It stayed for some days with the kids, before it went back to the bush again.
Conclusion
Cats are fun to be with and can help the owners by forming great friendship with them.

I'm just learning about the benefits of cat to man for the first time. If I was given the question in examination before now, I'll say it only serves as meat or a companion.
