I love this part of your writeup-
but when you begin to grow as an adult you realize that you were in a world like a fantasy that suddenly wakes you up and you see that things are not as easy as we thought.
This is actually true in all respects. As children we are shielded from the realities of life, but when we become adults, we are entirely responsible for our mistakes.
