STEEMKIDS COMMUNITY WORD DEFINITION CONTEST SERIES CONTINUES: WEEK #1 FOR 2022- WHAT DOES DELEGATION MEAN TO YOU AND TO STEEMKIDS

Hello my friends and steemkids. Great to be with you all today. This community steemkidss have been known for running wonderful contest, which are very educating and designed to teach every member of the community.

I will be engaging in the word definition contests organized by the steemkids community.

Delegation

This could be explained as the act of allowing another person share the authority you possess. In this case the original possessor of such authority does not have absolute control of the authority anymore. This could also be explained as the act of passing a responsibility to another person to handle when you are not free to effectively carry it out.

So in summary, it gives the idea of entrusting something to another person or authorizing him to do something on your behalf.

From the steemit point of view, delegation is about a person giving or entrusting his steem power to another person to use for curation for which he could be rewarded or not. In this scenario the owner of the steem power is the delegator while the person receiving is the delegatee. I can use my delegation to support a community so that they can give more value of votes while using the community account.

This enables me also to get more support through votes from the community, which will be more meaningful than when I do it alone. Apart from getting more support through voting from the community, I will also earn delegation reward from the community I delegated to.

What does delegation mean to steemkids community?

Delegation really means a lot to steemkids community. It is one of the ways by which the community grows in its influence and voting power in the steemit ecosystem. For a community to fully sustain itself within the steemit ecosystem without being entirely dependent on the curators they need to build their steem power. One of the primary way this is done is by soliciting for delegations from the users. This is pure business since this may be looked at as pure business capital. On the other hand, the community entices individual users to delegate by supporting their quality posts or paying them an agreed reward as interest on amount delegated.

So we can see the reason why since this year, emphasis have been laid on delegation by the steemkids community. If we truly love this community and want to ensure its survival just like any other business, we will do all we can to delegate and encourage others to do so.

How can you delegate to steemkidss which is our official account?

There are two ways by which we can delegate to steemkids.

● The first method is by going through steemworld.org

At the address bar, type in steemworld.org/@username

It opens up the landing page, then click on delegation.

In the dialogue box, type the amount of steem you want to delegate and the community you want to delegate to and then click ok.

Another dialogue box comes out asking for you to confirm the transaction.

Click yes to continue.

Then another box comes for you to use your active key to sign the transaction. Input your active key and click ok. Then it will be delegated.

● The second method of doing this is by going direct with the delegation link provided by steemkids community. Usually seen at the end of its post or comments to users. This delegations links are separated for you to select and click on the amount you want to delegate.

This takes you to steem auto, dialogue box, where you will input your username and Active key.

This then brings up the page showing the amount you are delegating and the community.

Then click approve.

The steem power will then be delegated.

Kindly note that the pictures are for illustrative purposes. I have already delegated 1000SP to steemkidss.

Do not waste time to delegate, invest in steemkidss and be sure to enjoy support and fruitful rewards from your investment with them. The rewards comes on a weekly basis now. Personally, I will increase my delegation after the week finishes.
