Review of the HOD's Cup Marathon Tournament

The very HOD's Cup Marathon Tournament in the Department of Science Education just concluded, and of course it was very exciting! Both The male and female students did played football, and each match was ever thrilling.

Tournament Overview

The dear competition included:

• 100 Level vs. 300 Level
• 200 Level vs. 400 Level
• And a friendly match between the Science Education girls and the department of Early Childhood Education girls.

Results of the Matches

All of the matches ended in penalties before we could declare the winners perfectly.

1. 100 Level vs. 300 Level

   • This very match was tough as the 100l players play their whole heart ❣️ to quality, but the 300 Level team won on penalties after a 1:1 draw.

2. 200 Level vs. 400 Level

   • This game as well was equally challenging to both players, with the 400 Level team winning on penalties after finishing full time on a 1:1 goal line draw.

3. Science Education Girls vs. Early Childhood Education Girls

   • This very friendly match ended in a goalless draw for the ladies, meaning that no team scored any goals at all but indeed it was a great performance display from everyone.

The Final Match

• 400 Level vs. 300 Level
  • In the final match of the marathon tournament, the 400 Level team won on penalties as well again against the 300 Level team, emerging as the tournament winners after facing a tough and challenging game that ended goal less.

My Experience

I definitely played as a striker for the 300 Level team, wearing the number 9 jersey. But Unfortunately, I then sustained an ankle injury during the tournament final match from a 400l player.

• Despite this outcome, I am very much happy because our team put up a very good fight. We were indeed the defending champions from last year's tournament Which we displayed a quality performance then, in the previous one we won the gold medal, and so I was honored as the best player of the tournament.

Awards

• This very year, we finished as the runners-up, and I received a silver medal for my dear efforts. Even though here we didn't win it this time, I am proud of our performance as defending champions.

Conclusion

The outstanding HOD's Cup Marathon Tournament was indeed a wonderful event filled with much excitement and great sportsmanship. Although here my team, the 300 Level, didn't win this year, but it was amazingly a great experience, and I am so much proud of our efforts. Indeed We will come back stronger next year!

It was a fantastic tournament ever display, and everyone enjoyed it! 😉 So well, the fans were happy and the support and 💕 love during chant was massive.
