Wolves in Sheep Clothing: A fable For Kids and Parents

INTRODUCTION

The wolf in a sheep Clothing is a story that both parents and kids can learn from. This story is about a devouring wolf that disguised itself to look like a sheep. The wolf failed in previous attempts to devour the sheep and this made it to find a way to look like a sheep.

One day, the wolf went to the farm, laid its hand on one sheep and was able to get one sheep. It ate it and then disguised like a sheep by wearing the skin of the sheep and went to the farm again. It finally deceived the sheep to follow him and the sheep followed him. The wolf ate the sheep and shepherd could not find the sheep.

Once upon a time when the sky was a playing ground for the squirrels, there came a shepherd, the sheep and the wolf. The wolf lived very close to a farm and regularly monitored the movement of the sheep around the farm to eat the sheep. The sheep normally follow anybody that comes around the farm, not minding the distance. The sheep often go with the shepherd and his son, even with their dog.

The devouring wolf watches from afar, noded his head and laughed “haa haa haa, You this foolish sheep, you follow everyone around. You can't escape from my capture."

On a very bright day, the wolf decided to go to the farm to lure the sheep to follow him to go out of the farm. On reaching the farm, the wolf said to one of the sheep, “follow me." The wolf thought that the sheep would just follow him just like that. Of course, the size of the wolf could scare the sheep. The sheep cried and shouted in loud voice. Luckily, the shepherd was not far away and came to rescue the sheep. On seeing the shepherd, the wolf took to his heels.

After this failed attempt by the wolf, he became aware that the sheep would not follow him the way he is. That the sheep would want to follow his lion-like. At this time, he carefully went back to the farm and captured one of the sheep, took home to eat it. He ate it and got satisfied while he reserved the skin of the ship.

The wolf prepared the skin of the sheep and wore it to resemble the sheep.As he wore the sheep skin, he looked like the sheep. The following day, the wolf went again to the farm as he now look like the sheep. Reaching the farm, he said to the sheep “follow me." The sheep now decided to follow the wolf and no longer afraid since the wolf looks like them. They went to a far distance and so the shepherd could not see or hear the sheep.

The wolf became happy, smiled and shouted “hahahaha...., you nonsense sheep, You have fallen into my trap, I will eat you now!" The sheep cried maaaa......maaaa and became so much afraid having seen himself being far distance from the farm and without the shepherd.

A day for celebration came in the life of the shepherd, made a plan to kill one sheep for his celebration. The first sheep he found became his opinion to kill for the event. As the shepherd was coming, he saw the wolf looking like his sheep, thinking that the biggest sheep has shown up. Immediately, he lifted up his axe and killed the wolf. Here then, the shepherd saved the life of the sheep from the deadly wolf which could killed him.

Lesson From The Story

The lesson to learn from this story is that, evil ones could come deceptively to unleash evil against innocent ones. While they walk around causing evil, such evil comes back against them and hurt them.

We should not do or teach our children to plan evil because evil has a way of backfiring to against those who are plan or do it.
