Update #80: Writing Expedition ✍️||Repairs
Hi Steemians! Welcome to another week of writing expedition. In my content today I'm sharing how I made some Minor repairs on desktop computers.
Computer systems develops faults from time to time. Such faults could be major faults or minor faults. When the system develops major faults, I don't handle it myself because I'm not an expert in that field. I take it to the engineers to diagnose and fix it.
One of the major faults that computer systems could develop is when a hardware component breaks down. Another one is when the operating system crashes. When either of these two happens, there would be a malfunction of the computer system.
The random access memory (RAM) in my computer system could not respond to powering. I tried switching it to other different Ram slots but it didn't work out. I checked whether the power supply was adequate and it was adequate.
I closely checked the motherboard if there were some disconnected components in it, but there was none. The motherboard houses other components including the Ram. After checking what could have been the problem of the computer not booting to desktop, I grabbed the ram and removed it. I tested other rams and the ones had were not responding as it should.
After testing several rams and they could not work, I brought the initial ram I removed, clean it with a certain chemical. I left it for some minutes to dry up. When got dry, I took it and inserted it back. The system came back to normal and is ready for use.
This is how I repaired the minor fault that occured to my system.

MODs Comment/Recommendation:
You have definitely done a great job by repairing a minor fault that occurred in your computer system, which was cause due to low or no response from the Random access memory, and I believe this will save you money which would have being used to pay someone else for repair.
