My Little Pot Of Rice

INTRODUCTION

Being part of the food challenge is what I really like to do. At least for one thing, it would sometimes, make me go into the kitchen to prepare some food.

Learning how to prepare some food early enough is a good step to take. This is especially important for parents to show their kids how to prepare food for themselves and at later, for their parents.

When I was still a was a kid I started cooking. In those days, my parents would buy the food items in the market and keep to continue and save time for their work. As I come back from the school, I would go collect the food items and bring it home to cook. Today as an adult even though not regularly, I go to kitchen to the kitchen to prepare meals. I therefore in this contest, present how I prepared a little port of rice.

To prepare my little pot of rice, first and foremost, I had make sure that I made the ingredients ready. The ingredients used in Preparing this food include:

  • Tomato
  • Salt
  • Seasoning cubes
  • Dry fish
  • Red oil
  • Dry pepper
  • Seasoning leaf
  • Onions

First, I had to cook the rice half done for proper washing. I put it into the sieve after the washing and start making other ingredients ready for the cooking. Now the cooking starts! Having cut the onions, grinded the pepper, and pill off the seasoning cubes, I poured a little oil into the pot. Pouring the oil is to fry the ingredients as a stew to make the rice tasteful.

As the oil steamed for about ten seconds, I poured the tomato, onions seasoning cubes, crayfish and the pepper. Later the dry fish, and salt were added and then fry them all together to get a super taste.

After some minutes, I poured the rice and seasoning leaf into the pot and then stirred very well. I now added few cups of water and covered it for a whole boiling.

As it continued to boil, I went to my vegetable farm and got some vegetable to make it more enticing. I believe that you all know that vegetable has a lot of vitamins and minerals that are good to nourish the body.

At about 20 minuites later, the rice was done and I brought it down from the fire to prepare a vegetable sauce. Some of the ingredients used in cooking the rice like the onions, crayfish, pepper, seasoning cubes, salt and grinded dry fish were used to make the vegetable sauce.

Finally, the vegetable got done and I added it to the rice to eat. This how I made the food that I ate today.
