Health is wealth, and one of the best ways to secure that wealth is by building a strong immune system. Over the years, I’ve realized that we don’t always need expensive supplements when we have natural herbs around us. Bitter leaf (Vernonia amygdalina) is one of those amazing herbs that has been used traditionally in Africa for healing and wellness. It’s rich in nutrients, antioxidants, and vitamins that help the body fight diseases and recover faster.

How Bitter Leaf Boosts the Immune System

Some people prefer boiling the leaves first. That’s fine too, but I prefer the raw method because it keeps more nutrients intact.

The Right Dosage

For adults, half a glass (about 100–150 ml) once a day is enough. You don’t need to drink too much. Taking it three to four times a week helps strengthen your immune system naturally without side effects.
