It was my pleasure to join @uzma4882 in her contest named “Family support is the pillar to strengthen family bonding.” To me, family support is not just a theory; it is the foundation that keeps families holding on to each other even when things are tough or when they are celebrating their achievements. Looking forward to this important topic of discussion with all of you.

Family support is essentially the foundation that holds the fabric of families together, that is a concept that really speaks to the core of my being, what is more, interesting is that this is not simply a theory that I have learned, but rather a reality, a real-life practice that I see in real life events.

Imagine family is like a tree, whose main branches spread out in different directions but are connected by their roots which are comprised of love, care, and understanding. They bring out these roots of support in every human being in the sense that any form of encouragement, assistance, or just an understanding word to the individual makes the tree grow even deeper and stronger. Without this stability, the tree has a good structure but is extremely susceptible to the forces of life or the destruction that comes with it. Yet when strong, it not only stands but blossoms giving and receiving love, trust, and even joy.

Living in the fast world as it is nowadays, one might think that it is just impossible to receive proper support from family. Sometimes we forget about those things that are important to us so much and that is probably what the message of the song is telling us. Parents who help to do homework when they have to be awake late, a father who spends his Saturday night watching a child’s sports game, a mother who listens to a teenage daughter or son’s concerns these are the strings that make the family fabric closely interconnected.

Also, it is important to realize that family support is not a matter of being there during a joy ride. It actually is the most active and most brilliant in times of trouble. Crisis: What is the secret weapon of any family? It is power, the only power that can help a family member who is in a difficult position – the power of togetherness, the power of solidarity. This is where the true value of family is realized and embraced because no amount of outside assistance can compare to the consoling embrace and the feeling of being accepted.

One must also consider the cumulative effects of this support as well, thus asserting that long-term support is doing a better job. Family support is one of the predictors of resilience, children brought up in supportive homes are likely to have high self-esteem, good management of their emotions, and adversity-coping skills. They build a culture of kindness and caring, and pass this knowledge to their families as well, creating a positive cycle of relationships.

Hence, family support cannot be simply described as one of the support pillars but rather it is the foundation on which strong bonds are framed. It is the urge or the force that guides us, supports us, and makes us stay on Earth while inspiring us to find something higher. It is the quiet, powerful reminder that, no matter the storms that may come, or the struggles that may be faced, there is home, there is support, and there is strength in the family.
