Spread Love and Share Happiness - Distribution of Iftar Packages by Youth Scouts to the Community
Youth Scouts are here to provide goodness for a better life. Youth scouts also attended public roads in the context of distributing iftar packages for people in the city center. I myself as a senior in Scouting feel proud of my junior brothers for doing good in this holy month of Ramadan.
This activity is one of the youth scout agendas of IAIN Lhokseumawe in this holy month of Ramadan. This action is to glue together the youth scout members and share iftar menu packages for road users who are fasting. In addition to distributing it to road users who pass by, iftar menu packages are also distributed to people in need and rickshaw drivers who are stopping at the traffic light intersection in Lhokseumawe city center. I am as a senior member of the youth scout base at IAIN Lhokseumawe, assisted in this action.
Event schedule
The distribution of fasting packages took place at traffic lights, on the main road in Lhokseumawe City. A total of 100 boxes of iftar packages were distributed to pedicab drivers, road users, and people around the city of Lhokseumawe. (red traffic light) in front of a mini park.
The distribution of iftar packages starts at 16.00 pm until it is finished and before it is time to break the fast. This program was initiated by the youth scouts of IAIN Lhokseumawe. The funds for the distribution of this fasting package came from our personal money, fellow youth Scout members, we collected this fund with our own personal money, each member we collected Rp. 100,000/person.
In the action of distributing fasting packages we numbered 20 youth Scout members, but in this program we have planned to break the fast with fellow youth members at the scout secretariat, so we divided the tasks, 10 people went down to the field to distribute fasting packages and 10 other youth Scouts had their duties. at the scout secretariat to prepare a menu for breaking the fast for fellow youth members.
The activity of sharing the iftar menu package is an activity to share goodness and to establish brotherhood with fellow youth Scout members of IAIN Lhokseumawe. Helping each other and caring for each other in this holy month of Ramadan is also a student learning process to better understand the importance of caring.
Hopefully the activities carried out by youth scouts can continue to be an annual agenda every month of Ramadan and provide social awareness to care for others, especially to shape the soul and character of youth scouts at the IAIN Lhokseumawe base.
After the action, before it was time to break our fast, we immediately gathered at the scout secretariat. The event continued with breaking the fast together between youth and senior Scout members at the scout secretariat of the IAIN Lhokseumawe base.
This event was smooth and well executed, there were no obstacles in the distribution of sharing menu packages for breaking the fast and breaking the fast with fellow scout members. Hopefully useful, thank you for visiting and reading my post.
