"Why is it that anytime we take pictures you guys like placing your hands on my shoulder?" My kid sister asked and mother replied ""We love and cherish this family with passion so as we do to you. Without words of mouth, the picture above truly signifies unity and family bond because of their posture and the look on their faces.

I have a lovely and United family i must say. It's a privilege to participate in this family contest organized by @uzma4882. I want to showcase the core values that unite the family through stories and photos. Scroll down let's enjoy this story.

Let's start with a brief and experienced story of a teenager. There lived a teenager who keep having problems and conflict with his parents and siblings all because of some house rules he was cautioned about. He was 17 and he felt he deserve that respect from his parents and siblings despite the age difference.

"Are you not old enough to get your own apartment and live the life you want"?!! His mother yelled at him. The boy got angry, packed his luckages and left the house. He was a good friend of mine though, i pleaded with him to go back and sort things out with his parents and siblings but he insisted to leave.

He left, now the question is "what happened next when he left? Was he able to survive on his own without a job at that tender age? He couldn't because he later came back like a prodigal son the Bible talked about. Why this experienced story? There are those core values his parents, siblings and the boy himself didn't put into practice so as to unite their family bonding. Keep scrolling let's get to know some of those core values.

• Love

There's this saying "Love governs and endure all things and also the chief cornerstone of family life". This is not an adage but a true fact because it creates a deep emotional bond between family members, fostering feelings of belonging, acceptance, and security. Relationship can be easily thrive in a family when there's love because love itself forms the foundation of a healthy and happy family, creating a nurturing environment where individuals can flourish.

• Collaboration

Working together as a team in a family is one of the core values that unite family bonding. This teamwork can be done in various aspects such as supporting each other to achieve common goals, solving life's problems and challenges and also giving a helping hands at home in terms of chores. Consistently doing this will promote a sense of unity and cooperation in a family.

• Spending quality time together

It's just like being with a close friend of yours all day and it keeps repeating itself, the connection and bond between you both with be cemented. The same thing applies to spending time with our family, the connection will be built-in. The time spent with our family can involve participating in various activities like exercising, gaming, and having a last longing conversation.
