She is fragile
As fragile as an egg that has just been laid whose shell has not hardened yet
So fragile that a small poke could make it burst.
She looks for approval from those around her
She yarns to please them
Maybe if they are happy enough, they will not leave her
Maybe they will stay
She silently thinks to herself.
They don't appreciate her
They are reckless with her emotions but she won't leave
She is blind to their charm
She is held stagnant
She can feel her heart breaking, piece by piece
She can feel her soul drowning but she won't dare move.
She is comfortable in the known
She lacks the courage to venture in unknown territory
Least she loses her way and forgets the path back.
Alas she holds still
As though moving will kill her
She stands in a sink hole holding her breath.
She gives love even when it is not given back to her
She begs for their love
It is a sight for sore eyes but she won't leave
It is almost like they stole her legs from her and left her there legless.
How is she to move now?
