ITHE DIARY GAME:24/08/20 A Really Long Day
Ever had one of those days when you wish you could hide in someone else's shadow? Today was that day for me. The day started off as one of my best days, taking a short brisk walk with my friend to work (as seen by both our shadows) and taking in the beautiful weather.
Today one of the first things I would do is talk to my boss give him work updates let him know I've got everything under control, what I didn't know was I didn't. I was happily checking off my to-do list on my way to work
Getting to work and talking to him revealed an issue which needed attention which I eventually sorted out but I realised that not everything in life goes the way we expect. I did however learn from today
What did I learn?
- When making decisions consult everyone involved
- Keep my cool
- Think on my feet
My day was overshadowed by the events of the morning (wow I'm using alot of shadow expressions, no pun intended) but it got better from there.
How?
I met Patience, a girl studying sciences with the dream to become a doctor. She was so assertive and such a go getta. I like that and I constantly aspire to become more like that everyday. That was a breathe of fresh air.
I'm now sitting reflecting on the day. I love this time of the day most, when I have time alone in the quiet.
My mind is drifting towards the people I love, the ones who have the greatest impact on me. It helps to calm my mind. I guess it's good to write about it. As I'm punctuating my words and bringing out ideas I'm able to punctuate my life put everything in perspective. Whoever came up with the idea of journaling must have been a psychologist lol

Life is beautiful. Among the roses you find thorns. You take the good with the bad and you appreciate that you have people to love and to hold. When you think about it, you appreciate that they care enough to be around you even if they bore and irritate sometimes.
It's good to be alive.
@viczwa I think i can reflect on the three things you learn, pls can you share more light on the last point, thanks

The last point, think on my feet. I mean when there's a problem I should be quick to resolve it and not dwell on it. The minute I solved my problem I felt better

It's Zimbabwe, in Africa. I stay in Bylaws to but some of the pics were just to show my mood and weren't particularly pictures I took. I'm glad you like my work. I enjoy writing
How is Sri Lanka today?
