I am from Venezuela, what part of Russia are you from? Russia is one of the countries I want to visit and spend a well-deserved vacation.
I live at the second biggest megapolis - St.Petersburg - which is known as 'the cultural capitol of Russia' - in the past it was the residence of Russian emperors, and all their governing offices. a lot of palaces, museums, places of intrest to see. nice historical architecture (well-preserved). the city is also named as 'the Northern Venice'. I'd say it is a good 'parade display' to have a look at Russia, which is definitely not the same as this city, hehe. we have a lot of tourists all around the world. the climate is a weak spot; if you will plan a visit, note the best time is from May to July, other seasons the weather can be pretty shitty (rains and no sun). I assume, the financial aspect can be important and maybe even the key one, too! Russia is not the cheapest country, but, a lot of things are simple and cheap here, so it may influence your decision. I do not have any figures at my hands, to compare. It is you, who will decide. But if the cost of the travel be the same or comparable, Spain and Italy would be far better options for the travel to Europe. Unless you intrested exactly in checking Russian land, of course.
Anyway. During the last few days, you are the second person who tells me about the dream of visiting my country. I will definitely post more stories and photos of the city and its beautiful historical aspects / places of intrestet, having this in mind. All the best - and stay healthy! @ulisesfl17
