Steeming Community Contest " Your Story 2 " - The behavior of a parent greatly affects how a child behave in the future

Hi ya'll it's me again @saneunji and to Miss @fabio2614 thank you again for this contest that always aims for the Steemians to be a better and a creative writer. So here's my entry guys.

Home is where LOVE and DISCIPLINE begins and I am very grateful and blessed for I grow up in a loving family and was properly raised by my parents. I will be forever grateful for that but unfortunately some weren't lucky enough for they grow up in an unhappy family and an abusive parent/parents.

To discipline the children is normal and it's the right of every parents to do so but parents should be aware also of their boundaries. Too much discipline becomes ABUSIVE especially if it cause too much pain to the child physically, emotionally and psychologically.

The images shows a very disturbing behavior of a father and how it greatly affects a child's behavior as he grow up. This is real and I've witnessed situations like this several times in movies and even in real life. I believe that there's no child ever born bad and how a child behave as he grow up depends on how their parents raised them.

So here's a story of a young adult named Ramonsito who grow up from a well-off family but was raised poorly by his parents. He's a student from a prestigious school who struggled academically and always get low grades.

One day Ramonsito went home bringing his report card and showed it to his parents. His father got angry because his grades are low, shouted at him and calling him idiot and a disgrace to the family. His father even beat him to death and lock him in his room. Actually this is not the first time. This has always been the scenario everytime he shows his report card to his parents, there's always shouting and beating. Even his mother cannot defend him because she too was afraid of her husband. Until such time Ramonsito became numb of everything and his personality change.His no longer the sweet and kind Ramonsito.

He became a rebelious son. Ramonsito became bully in school, always involve in violence, hangs out with troublesome students in school and later on involve in Drugs. He's totally changed. He became so addicted in violence and drugs that he even spent his youthful years doing unlawful things. Until one day he was caught and imprisoned because of robbery and drug trafficking.

One day his father visited him in the jail and saw anger in his father's eyes. His father angrily said " You're a fool, a bastard!!! You're still a disgrace to this family!!! " Upon hearing those words Ramonsito smirked and told his father " Tsk, tsk still the same monster as before! Atleast now we're even! Look at me I became a monster just like you. This is what you made me do!!! "

The End.

The ending of the story is very sad. This is an example of how the behavior of a parent affects the behavior of a child psychologically when he grows up and became an adult. This is real and this is happening. Somewhere, someone is suffering the same situation as Ramonsito's.
But I do hope Maltreatment and Abuse of children will stop because no parents should ever abuse their child.
