I do agree with @fendit. Aside what our geeter fairy team are doing, we could also revive dormant accounts into active ones by directing them to some of the new projects and contests that are currently ongoing.
A contest could be a good place to start. I have encountered about 2 ghanaians here already and will try to reach as many as possible. Let me start with the compilation of the list of ghanaians list as well. Thanks for bringing this to our attention Steemit team.
I think that visiting this type of accounts would increase engagement in Steemit. It's key, because some of them never know how to fully understand the platform and all the different things they can do here... So I'll try to visit them from time to time to see how they're doing. It'd be great if we could do this for every country... but it certainly times a lot of time, lol
Yeah, similar thing happened to me when I joined in July. I just happened to stumble upon a Newcomer's introductory post in the "steem greet" Community and I was so glad to have found it.
I therefore know how crutial guidance here on steemit can help foster growth and engagement and will do my best to direct the people I encounter :).
