Steeming community contest | Your story | WAKE UP!

Good afternoon steemians.This is my entry for the contest "your story".

STORY NAME : WAKE UP!

It was six in the morning and the alarm started ringing. Lily turned the alarm off and sat dizzy in the bed for few minutes. She wanted to sleep for an extra hour but she knew that they would be going late to her mother's house if she would sleep any longer. Then she refreshed herself and started making two cups of coffee for herself and her husband John. After preparing the coffee she took a cup of it to John and asked him to wake up. John woke up with a big task of taking his wife and children to their grandparents house. For John it was beginning of a exhaustive day because he will in rush to returning here for the work after leaving Lily and children there.
After waking up John it's now her duty to wake-up the 11 year old Joe and 9 year old Frank and give them a glass of milk. Frank got up as soon as lily gave him a pat to his shoulder , because he was waiting eagerly for the sun to rise to visit his grandparents house. Frank usually loves his grandparents but more than that he like everything with his grandparents house. He will be unstoppable there for the next 10 days with the guardian angel grandma supporting him for whatever the mischief he is doing. He was also eager for tasting those special sweets made by his grandma. That's a non stop entertainment for him. Lily knew this well so as soon as Frank opened his eyes she went on to waking up Joe. But it was different with Joe . There's no doubt that Joe has love for his grandparents but he had his reasons to hesitate from going there. The first and foremost reason was his pet hamster browny. If he would go there he will be left with an extra work of protecting the hamster from his grandpa's cat. Last time he took browny there , that naughty cat rolled the cage with browny and browny was lucky to escape from that incident without any scratches. Addition to these reasons he can also hangout with his friends if he can stay here. On knowing all these Lily woke him up cheerfully to give him the positivity to get him out his bed. After everyone woke up work began with the speed of light and within the next 2 hours ,they packed everything they needed for the next 10 days. By 9:30 am they locked the house and started their journey in the car.
