Right from the first breath you were there
Lovingly looking but afraid to touch,maybe because you though you'd squeeze me to death with your muscles.
The very first thing I could see, you my first sight,and as I grappled through life's first trials your chest I'd lie comfort like I'd never know.

And as nature kind and benevolent smiled at your efforts, this little babe starts to walk...

How did I get this far?, Oh I know!!
It was a father who refused to give up or give in on me. I'm sure trials are ahead,but with you by my side,I'll conquer them all.
