LACK OF SELF CONTROL....A DISEASE THAT PLAGUES US ALL.
Thank you @fabio2614 and @steemingcommunity for the 2nd edition of this contest. This is my first post in this community and I hope you like my story.
Once upon a time,there was a man named Larry. Larry was a very kind man,he was a 'standing citizen of his community.
Larry always helped out in the community projects in whichever way he could. Larry could be said to an example of philanthropy,many admired him so much that they wished larry's wife elizabeth dead so their daughters could marry him.
Little did they know that larry had a very big problem and that was his short temper.

Larry would at the slightest excuse or mistake shout at his wife elizabeth or even worse beat her up and he did this constantly in the presence of their son John.

Of course John would be frightened anytime his father shouted at him or his mother but since it was a regular occurrence john felt it was the norm and a way of life.
Since getting angry, shooting and even beating his mum elizabeth up got his dad larry what he wanted,john grew up to be just as vicious and even more short tempered than his dad.

One day,john got involved in an argument with another young man and before you could say 'jack robinson' John had thrown the first punch and beat up the young man black and blue even with bystanders begging for him to stop.
John just couldn't stop!! And so he hit the boy till he became unconscious.

Of course the boys parents called the police and John was arrested and charged for attempted manslaughter,he was very lucky to get away with his life but he was jailed for 25 years without parole.
Such a young future wasted because of his father's inability to control his temper.
John would come out of prison a convict and worse having lost his youthful years.
