Thanks to @steemitblog for creating a platform where steemitians get to learn about blockchain technology from scratch, I participated in @yohan2on crypto class where Introduction to blockchain technology was treated with simplified means for users to understand you can read and learn more directly from the author post Introduction to Blockchain Technology | Topic 1: by professor @yohan2on at the end of the lesson a task was given as homework which i will be sharing part of my homework here.
As part of the the task I will be writing about #Coinbase a blockchain powered company.
Coinbase is a digital currency exchange platform that provide it's users with portfolio in crypto currency such as bitcoin, ethereum, litecoin and more both token and coins for users to makes buying and selling of digital currency the exchange platform have been around since 2012 base in San Francisco, california the platform which is powered by blockchain technology have over 20 million plus users with transaction of over 150 billion dollars which have been exchanged on the platform.
Integration of blockchain technology have made coinbase platform to be very scalable in terms of accommodating millions of users who can conduct and perform seamless transaction without any much delay also transaction per second TPS on coinbase are super fast and secure.
Coinbase is a leading crypto currency exchange offering wide variety of product which includes advance trading, investment, wallet for retail investment and custodial accounts.
Some interesting features integrated on coinbase blockchain includes
Coinbase Pro
it's an advance trading platform which allows it users to perform trading activities such as buying and selling of Crypto currencies which includes btc, eth and multiple crypto pairs with low transaction fee to attract multiple users.
It was formally known as GDAXCoinbase wallet
Coinbase wallet was introduced in 2018 which have provide it users with much safer and secure means of storing their Crypto asset users can create their non custodial wallet which can be managed using their generated phrase keys.Merchant solution
There are available opportunity for users and merchant to accept payment using coinbase merchant services for customers to make payment of purchase product from web.
Coinbase service is supported in over 100+ countries which make it accessible for use by millions of users today being powered by blockchain technology have made the company to be much flexibility and scalable for users in terms of security coinbase have stand out as an exceptional company taking it users privacy into consideration there haven't been record of security breach.
Blockchain technology have proven to be a secure system and today high profile company and industries are embracing the technology to provide much faster and secure means of transactions among users globally.

Coinbase exchange is indeed some great project. Do you use that exchange? have you earned any crypto while trying out their few crypto education programs. I have an account with coinbase but I haven't used it for some time now.
