A Well-Deserved Break

Hola! Como Estas? Espero que lo estás haciendo bien.

I once read a short quote that says, sometimes, we need to loosen up, take a break and re-calibrate our life. We need to decompress and ponder on how life has been going.

With all the busy things we are doing lately that's stressing me out, I decided to take a much-needed break. And so, me and my two cousins just pack our things on a backpack, hop on a bus and go to our go-to place which is San Remegio.

San Remegio is one of the municipalities in the province of Cebu and is located in the northern part with Bogo, Medellin and Tabuelan nearby. I've always loved going to that place ever since, I think this is my 6th time going there. I just love the smell of fresh air and the cool breeze of the sea. Usually, we go there riding a van but this time we decided to commute and ride a bus. Travel time is almost 4 hours and bus fare is 240 pesos.

As we arrived in the place, we pass by first on their church which is San Juan Nepomuceno Parish.

Then, we bought some buko juice and drink to quench our thirst.

As soon as we arrived, we take some photos first and take a dip afterwards.

The beautiful sunset of San Remegio is a good reminder for me that all my worries, challenges and problems are only temporary. Like there will always be sunrise after a sunset and sunshine after a rain, there will always be solutions for problems, happiness after worries and victories after challenges. What is important is to focus on the solution rather dwell on the problem. Like the boat in the ocean, I will just continue to sail with the different rides in my life and come out victorious and happy.
