The father who never met his son

Sixten years ago, John met Mary at a supermarket where she was trying to buy some grocries for the house, while john worked as a cleaner in the store.

As time goes by, John kept seeing her and he loved her the more with each passing day. One day, he decided to talk with her, to his greatest suprise the feeling was musual. The friendship kicked of in high speed. After a year Mary and John decided to get married.
John did Everything possible to give his family the best life he can afford.

Severally Mary's Mum mrs kate would come to the house to mock her son in-law for giving her dauther the life he can afford and not the life she deserved. She never wanted John to marry her dauther, just because he was poor according to her standard. The two still went a head despite her sugestion to her dauther.

Two years after they got married Mary got pregnant. John was the happiest man on earth. He would sing the praise of his wife to his co-workers. He was very happy and hopeful. Six month into her pregnacy, they both decided to go for a scan to know the babies sex, and they where told it was a boy, this made John even more happy.

John had always loved babies, he imagined how he would carry him, teach him how to do a lot of stuffs, and they would be the best of buddy and the mum would be their sweet heart.

Nine months later, she went into labour and her neighbor rushed her to the hospital. Few mins later John arrived and just in time for her delivering. The doctor came out with a not too happy fave and john John got worried, asking the doctor about the wife, the doctor said fine, he asked again, how is our baby and the doctor said not so good. Immediately John's heart failed Him.

He qiukly rushed in to check on wife , he found her in tears and afraid they might loose their son, she kept screaming, John our baby is not crying. The nurse had to quickly put her to sleep, in other to avoid her going into shoke or somthing worst.

Few hours later they lost the baby and this made them so sad, they both cried and consoled each other.

John became a father who never met his son.
He could only imagine the, thinhs he would have done with his son, like walking him to school.

like dancing with the son. John had always been a good dancer. He imagined teaching his boy one or two steps that stood him out those years.

After few months later, they decided to put the past behind them and move on, because the past has in the past months gotten the best part of their marriage.

Hopefully they would have another oppurtunity to share their love with a child.
