Kid found tomb of tutankhamun!
This twelve-year-old is Hussein Abdel-Rassoul.
He carried water to Carter and his team so that they would not die of dehydration during the search for Tutankhamun's tomb in the Valley of the Kings.
On one of his routes, the little one tripped on a stone and fell. He ran to Carter full of dust and dirt from the fall and told him he had stumbled on a rock. A rare thing for the area.
Carter immediately turned the work on that stone. The little one had just discovered Tutankhamun's tomb.
To honor him, they wore the most brilliant gold necklace of Pharaoh found in the tomb and photographed him.
Interesting story about this little boy that leads to finding the tomb.
