steemingzen contest || What would I do with 30SBD?

Kumusta members of @steemingzen community. I hope all of us are in good health. Today I am sharing to you my thoughts on how should I spend if I have 30SBD.

I am always grateful that I belong to a family where my parents are working hard to provide the needs of their children.

We are not a rich family but we are happily sharing love inspite of the financial difficulties that we encounter. At a young age, I already learn the basic in carpentry and the same goes for all my brothers as well. A child play for us is assembling wooden chairs, tables and cabinets. I thought life is very difficult for us until one day I witnessed a far more difficult living situation - children abandoned by their parents or with parents that cannot provide them with food because of extreme poverty.

I am from the Philippines and although we are a developing nation, poverty is still one of the situations that plague my country.

Why did I decide to participate in this contest?
Thanks to Steeming Community for this initiative, this is more than just a contest for me. This is a great venue to encourage all of my fellow Steemians to think about all the children who are abandoned or are living in a below poverty state.

I encourage all Steemians to participate on this contest and allocate some of their earnings from this generous Blockchain to aid those who are in great distress specially the children.

What is the equivalent of 30SBD to your local currency?
30SBD is roughly converted to 9,000 - 10,000 Pesos in Philippine currency.

This is enought to feed hundreds of hungry street shildren or provide a grocery packs to around 100 families.

What would I do with 30SBD?

This is a very tempting question. With this amount, I can easily buy things that I dreamth of buying. Things like a brand new phone, car accessories and house improvements. But if I get this amount from Steemit there is no way that I will use it entirely on my needs. Steemit is an answered prayer for me to reach out to those people in need. If I have this amount, I will use it to initiate a project to benefit the street children and those that are living in extreme poverty. Projects like feeding programs and donating of grocery packages.

With much being said, the entire article is all about encouraging fellow Steemians to use Steemit as a venue to reach more people who are in need.
