This is actually my first time to participate in this “your story “ contest and I want to thank @fabio2614 and #steemingcommunity for this opportunity. Once I saw the picture a story that has been going on in my mind got to me and us titled

Once upon a time in village lived a beautiful couple who had lived together for 10 years. They had been childhood sweethearts and had grown up together before they got married and they had good jobs and lived very well but they had one problem , they were barren.

After 10 years , God answered their prayers and they were blessed with a bouncing baby boy. The couple , Emeka and Adanna named their baby , john . John was loved by both parents but the mum took it too far . She spoilt john to a Point of no return.john did no wrong I her eyes and made sure she got everything she wanted or he waited till she got it

It actually got to the extent that Emeka noticed this and tried to correct his only son but everytime he tried , Adanna always shielded him and said “do you want to kill my pride “ with a pitiful face and Emeka can’t touch his beloved wife . This continued for a long time and Emeka got tired and said to his wife “Adanna better stop what ya doing untill your pride disgraces you “ but Adanna paid no heeds to this warning and kept on with how she trailed John . John grew up into a boy that beat up any kid that denied him anything or got in his way to get some thing and he used different ways to get what he wanted .
John ended up joining a group of thieves that stole money and he ended up being arrested eventually . On the day he was taken away , the mum wept and lamented and remembered what the mum said to her , truly her pride has disgraced her
