The shopping game: 23/07/2020 | The late comer

Oh god who is calling me this morning. I heard someone scolding me on the other end of the phone. Even in my sleep, I can still find her voice. Yeah it is her. My thirteen years lovely best friend. But why she is calling me.🤔

Oh no! I promised her to go shopping with her today. She told me to be on time even for today. But as usual I am late 😂. I had a gang of friends, a joker, a food lover and a chatterbox. Continuouslly for years proudly I am the late comer.

I rush to the bathroom and had a shower. Then prepare my self to leave. I ready to go without having my breakfast. But I had to finish my breakfast in two mouthfuls because of my mother's scolding.

I quickly walked to the bus stop. She was at the bus stop. I could see her in the distance. I walked there. She looked at me angrily. But who cares😂. My ears were filled with her screams until the bus arrived. Lucky me😀. We got in to the bus. There were no so many people today in the bus. We took two tickets which priced 24 in LKR.

After fifteen minutes we arrived to the nearest town. We first went to a clothing store named, Nadiyas. It is located at Kaduruwela in Polonnaruwe, Sri Lanka.

We went to the third floor through the elevater. There was a good collection of women's clothes, shoes, bags and jwelleries. I wanted to buy a pair of shoes and she wanted to buy a frock. So I told her to go to the clothing area until I find a pair of shoes.

The seller girls were a real nuisance. They were following us telling that is good, this is good. She was not letting me to find what I want. Finally, I selected a pair of shoes and handed over it to the seller girl near by me. She told me that she will keep them at the cashier. I let her and walked to find my friend. The pair of shoes priced at 1799 in LKR.

Yeah I am right. As usual she stuck between a load of clothes. When I got there, she handed me few of them. Sadly I have to stay infront of the fit on room for about half an hour until she chose right suit for her. After multiples of trying, she chose a dress. Thank god. I gave it to the seller girl next to me quickly, fearing she would say no to this and look for some else.🙄

Then we went to the cashier dowstairs. There were lots of fancy items near the cashier. When I saw them I remembered that my shampoo and conditioner had been run out for also two days. I walked over and told the girl who was there to support what I wanted. I asked for Vatika shampoo and conditioner and then handed them both to the cashier. Price of shampoo was at 1000 in LKR and conditioner was at 890 in LKR.

The younger cashier told us the price and we paid the bill for our goods. Then we moved out of the shop. After we both left to go my home as my mother had prepared lunch for both of us.
