Yes, with this photos you can make sure that all the things you mentioned - beauty, history, art, eternity - are not just abstract concepts but real things you can sometimes touch and capture.
Wow, that is crazy how much some people used to spend on a burial. But, hey, if it was in this place i would also pay that money hahaha if i had it.Its a shame that they haven't taken care of this place like they should. If i ever go to Russia this will be on one of the places to visit. This place looks amazing even after all this time. Great post and very interesting.
If you ever go to Russia - and in particular, to St.petersburg - you definitely will have no time for it.... after having a boat trip across the channels, visiting the Hermitage museum, the Russian museum, a few Palaces - Yusupov's Duke to name at least one (where Rasputin was killed), and ofc there is also Peterhoff -- the Summer residence of Russian Emperors (knowas as the Russian Versaille), and the Letnii Sad (Summer Garden), and beautiful city districts, old streets consisting completely of old buidings of XIX century.... so much will be on your list - with not so much time :P

Well then I have to go stay for a year at least!! haha i wish.
