Hope your day is moving well?
Everything comes at its own pace at the right time.People secretly admire that little you have without your knowledge while you are at the verge of commiting atrocities to get what will certainly be yours if only you will have patience and continue improving on your self worth.
Competition here is not in a general terms of contesting for a prize but in self comparison. I would say that there are situations where competition helps in agitating desire for success but sometimes excessiveness of it kills inter joy,and causes restless mind.
I have seen situations where parents out of competition,kill their wards self-esteem and in turn causes depression,and literally inculcate a habit of hatred in their children out of competition, I am talking of children what of young girls in their adolescence age who join prostitution and do all sort of evil just for one word " I must belong ",I must wear this same kind of cloth that this person is wearing,I must be like him/her or the young boys in their adolescence age who join Cults just for one word "let them fear me".
Some parent who push their children to college to study one particular course all in the name of the title associated with it as seen in some African countries without minding the child's potential and area of specialization.
The apple fruits above are the same kind of fruit just with different colors,it applies to our daily life where we are aiming at the same thing "success".It does not matter what you have that the other does not have, what matters is how are you making a difference and how are in impacting in people lives.
The little you have is enough, it only needs proper management and fanning into flames in terms of potential.
If you're guilty of competition,look at yourself you will see that peace of mind is slowly slipping away from you and killing your joy without you knowing.
You're better than that thing/person you are comparing yourself with.You only need improvement and knowing your self worth.
The sky is too wide and we all can fly without touching each other.
