INTO THE LIFE OF TIMMY AND TIPPY; Steeming Community Contest "YOUR STORY"
Timmy and Tippy Brookes are siblings in a family of four.Mr.Brookes is a businessman who spent most of his time in the office to provide for his family,he spent his entire days signing papers and expanding his business while her wife Mrs. Brookes is a plain housewife who take good care of the house and the kids Timmy 6 and Tippy 5.
Timmy is a naughty young boy who loves to mess around.He may seem sweet but he is stubborn and loves to get things done right away,he doesn't take things seriously and just wanna have fun.He always say NO to everything his mother ask him to do.He is a brave young boy who loves to explore things and feel happy when he gets what he wanted.
Tippy is a cheerful little girl who loves to get involve,she loves to help her mom with the household chores.She is a responsible kid at her age,she is reliable when it comes to preparing meals and keeping the kitchen neat.
One day Mr. Brookes realize how busy he was and that he forgot to spend some quality time with his family,so he came home earlier than the usual.When he arrived to the house he was surprised upon witnessing the struggles that Mrs. Brookes have gone trough because of Timmy.He saw how his oldest son make fun and made things difficult for her wife because of his tantrums.
To his anger of what he just saw,he called out Timmy, "Timmy,I Don't like the way you treated your mother,she must be tired to handle how naughty you are".
Upon seeing his fathers anguish,Timmy bowed down his head and apologize to his father,"I'm sorry Papa".* Mr. Brookes made Timmy realized how bad his attitude towards his mother.Feeling guilty he ran to his mother in the kitchen hug her from the back and says he's sorry.Mrs. Brookes looked at him with a loving eyes,smile and whispered to his ears "It's ok honey,now go wash your hands and get ready for dinner,me and Tippy prepare your favorite dish".
Mr. Brookes followed to the kitchen and saw her youngest daughter Tippy helping Mrs Brookes doing some errands,He felt happy seeing how responsible his daughter at a young age.Mrs. Brookes looked at him and said "You too honey,you go set the table and get ready for dinner."
The incident he saw with Timmy made Mr.Brookes realized how important it is to give quality time to his family and pay attention to his children while they are young.He felt he needs to be there physically in raising his children and that it is not for his wife to bare alone.
An idea came in to his mind,after dinner he talk to Mrs. Brookes that he's planning to take the family to the beach since its already summer,they told the kids about the trip and the two got really excited.
The next day he filed a leave and take his family to the beach to unwind and bond.
Moral of the Story
- As a parents its not always about the material things in life,our children also need our presence to help them shape what they will become when they grow up.
