It is also forbidden to go to Jihad without the permission of one's parents. Because in the eyes of Islam, parental satisfaction is more important - more desirable. Compared to that, jihad is less travel work, although it carries a lot more thawab, which is not obtained by praying all night and fasting all year round.

Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar bin As (RA) said: A man came to the Holy Prophet (SAW) and asked permission to go to Jihad. He asked: Are your parents alive? Said, yes. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, 'Then give your life for their service.' According to another narration, a man came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and said:

I will pledge to you to emigrate and do jihad, so I want to get reward from Allah.
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) asked: Are any of your parents alive? He said: Yes, both of them are alive. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) did not ask: Do you really want to receive thawab from Allaah? He said: Yes, I want. Then the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Then go back to your parents and have good company with them.

A man came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and said: I have come to you to pledge allegiance to Hijrah and I have left my parents in a state of weeping. Upon hearing this, the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Go back to your parents and put a smile on their faces as you made them cry.

It is narrated from Abu Sayyid that a Yemeni man migrated and came to the Prophet (peace be upon him). He said: I have parents. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) asked: Did they give you permission? He said: No. Then the Prophet (peace be upon him) gave the order.

You go back to your parents and ask their permission, if they give permission, then go to jihad or devote yourself to their service.
