Forbidden agriculture.

It is haraam to cultivate all the plants which have been declared haraam by Islam or whose use is harmful. Such as gauze, opium etc.

The same goes for tobacco. However, according to those who think it is haraam, smoking is haraam. Many have given priority to this opinion. And according to those who believe that smoking is makrooh, its cultivation is also makrooh.

It is not permissible for a Muslim to cultivate any haraam thing for the purpose of earning money by selling it to non-Muslims. Muslims can never do the work of introducing haraam things. Therefore, raising pigs and selling them to non-Muslim Christians etc. is not permissible for Muslims. We have already said that in the eyes of Islam, it is not permissible to sell halal grapes to a person who is known to make wine with it.
