My trial diary for Season 2 of #thediarygame | July 20,2020 | Second diary entry

Today is a little bit dull day. From the morning to evening, almost all the time it was raining. It changed my mood and also my daily routine. The rainy and cold weather made me so lazy to wake up early in the morning. So I woke up at about 8 AM. As I was waking up, it started pouring outside. I sipped my morning tea while watching the rainfall. It was truly a best feeling ever.

Nevertheless, today I spent most of the time in my room. I became relaxed and so cooled. Then I had my breakfast. It was burning hot Pol Roti with a spicy lunumiris. Pol Roti is a very popular Sri Lankan Food which is made with grated coconut and flour. They are normally eaten with an onion and chilli relish known as lunumiris.

After having my breakfast I done my studies about two hours. I listened to a lecture audio which I missed to attend. Then I spent some time on social media. I scrolled down on Facebook and chatted with friends via Whatsapp.

At about 1 PM I had my lunch. It was rice and curry as usually. It was red rice with dhal curry and fried dry fish. After my lunch I played card game, Omi with my father, elder brother and sister. Omi is a popular card game played in Sri Lanka. It is a straightforward 4 player partnership game. The game is played using 32 cards of a standard deck, the other cards being used as tokens for scoring.

In the evening I took a wash even it was so cold. Then I drank a cup of plain tea with some chocolate puff biscuits. Later in the evening rain was stopped. I worshiped Lord Buddha as usually I do in the every evening. Then I watched news on TV at 7 PM.

After watching TV I had my dinner. Today my dinner was bread with dhal curry. It was so early than other days. Because today cold weather made me to go to bed earlier. So I started to write my diary post here. Now the time is 08.10 pm...
