Hello steemian ...

Today I made another post about blacksmithing in Aceh, today I coincidentally made a machete and knife using the services of a blacksmith.

The sound of wrought iron can be heard from a traditional blacksmith workshop in ulee nyeu village, bandar baro sub-district, north aceh district, Aceh

A blacksmith looks busy heating scrap steel and iron before it is formed into various kinds of crafts such as knives and machetes.

Village ulee nyeu, bandar baro sub-district, Aceh Utara district, Aceh has long been known as a center for quality iron-processed products, so many customers come to use the services of blacksmiths here.

The villagers of Ulee Nyeu have been blacksmiths from generation to generation. They make various tools such as machetes, hoes, and knives for the needs of their customers.

What is interesting is that the only raw material used is per used car. This raw material is obtained at a price of Rp. 10,000 per kilogram, even though it is only given away free of charge by several truck owners.

Per used is heated into the furnace and shaped according to customer demand through the skills of the iron craftsmen.

The price of metal equipment sold in this area is considered cheap but of high quality. For example, a machete can be brought home with prices starting from Rp. 100,000 and the price for knives and hoes varies depending on the difficulty of making them.

Steel that is heated will be hammered repeatedly until it is flat. After that, the blacksmith will smooth the surface using a grinder.

Next, the machete that has been forged will install the handle, the handle that is installed is the selected wood so that it won't break or crack easily when using it.

Once smooth, the shape of the knife will be trimmed until it is shiny by using a grinder. Finally, the knife will be sharpened repeatedly until it is sharp.

Traditional knife manufacturing continues to maintain the quality and durability of the knives.

This area is indeed famous for its blacksmith business. It is not uncommon for every resident in the area to have a blacksmith business that has been carried out from generation to generation.

So my today's post is in accordance with the direction of the community, Wednesday about crafts.

Hi @jesusremaj7! I`m here to help :) If you want to delegate, please make a comment (for example replay to this one) like this:
I want to delegate X sp to @user
Where X is the amount of SP and @user is the steem user you want to delegate to. For example:
I want to delegate 100 sp to @adson
@tipU will answer with a delegation link. Hope this helps!:)
