In Yubeng, only nature and I are left

Before coming to Yubeng, I had only heard the saying "Heaven is on the left, Yubeng is on the right". After coming here, I realized that there is not only the quiet Yubeng Village, which is like a paradise, but also the beautiful Shennv Peak, the stunning Kawagebo, the primitive forest and the mysterious Tibetan culture. When I climbed up the last step of Yubeng Upper Village and looked up, I suddenly understood the saying "Isn't life just a few moments?"

It is really not easy to come to Yubeng. Currently, the only way to Yubeng is through Ni Nong. You can take a bus from Shangri-La or Feilai Temple to the Yubeng hiking entrance in Ni Nong Village. From the hiking entrance, walk 8 kilometers along the Ni Nong Grand Canyon to the pickup truck pick-up point, which takes about 2.5-3 hours. Here you can choose to take a bus into the village, or you can choose to continue walking 7 kilometers to walk in.

Ice Lake Route: As a novice hiker, I chose the Ice Lake Route after making some suggestions. Ice Lake is the holy lake of Meili Snow Mountain. It is a 12-kilometer round trip from Shangyubeng, with a climb of 900 meters. Along the way, you will cross the primeval forest, cross the snow mountain pass, and arrive at Xiaonong Base Camp. After replenishing supplies here, continue to walk up and reach the Ice Lake after passing the Despair Slope. It rains every day when I come here, but I unexpectedly get a different kind of Yubeng. Although hiking on rainy days increases the difficulty a lot, it is so healing to walk through the primeval forest, step on the mud, listen to the sound of the rain, and occasionally a little squirrel will ask you for chocolate. I love this healing moment...
