Review on an American film- Five feet apart.

“We need that touch from the one we love, almost as much as we need air to breathe. I never understood the importance of touch, his touch... until I couldn't have it.” a dialogue full of emotions delivered by Stella.

This is one of my favorite movie. It is an emotional film based on a diseases known as cystic fibrosis. I will explain this disease a little, it is a very serious and life threatening disease that affects lungs and digestive system. Its cure is not available but good nutrition and treatment can help patients. Patients suffering from this disease are advised to maintain a distance of six feet to avoid exchange of bacteria between them that can be fatal.

Cast.
The main leading role Stella is played by Hailey Lu Richardson and male leading character Will is played by Cole sprouse ( remember? Yeah that guy from Riverdale). And the third patient of CF and Stella’s friend Poe (character played by Moises Arias). And a very powerful role of nurse Barb is played by Kimberly Herbert).

Story line .
This movie has a very intense emotional story, you actually feel engrossed in movie. The concept, sad ending, dialogues and scenes throughout the movie leave viewer in tears.
The girl is shown as a very serious and punctual about taking medications and the Will is shown is shown as hopeless guy who does not Care about anything. They both talk and fall in love with each other, Stella’s friend Poe dies in the movie which is a turning point that changes everything for Stella. She confesses her love for Will and than they make a rule of staying not six but five inches apart , its her theory that “our diseases has stolen everything from us so let’s steal a single inch from it and make it five not six feet a part”. Ending is very sad and traumatic as Stella undergoes a surgery and Will leaves her and go away so that she can live.

The story line is quite predictable but still it grabs the attention and makes the audience so deeply involved and emotional. I have heard so many people saying that it is the best movie they have ever watched because it is what audience demand. A sad romantic drama!
