Solana is a highly open source project that preserves the unauthorized environment of blockchain technology to provide expanded financial solutions (Defi). When the first idea and project started in 2017, Solana was officially launched in March 2020 by the Solana Foundation headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland.

Solana Protocol is designed to assist in the creation of a country-distributed application (DApp). It aims to improve metrics by introducing historical evidence-based (PoH) consensus combined with blockchain affirmative evidence (PoS).

Thanks to the harmonious hybrid model, Solana enjoys the interest from temporary traders and institutional traders alike. The main focus of the Solana Foundation is to make the funds allocated to them more accessible.

MR. Anatoly Yakovenko is the creator and most important person behind Solana. His professional career began at Qualcomm, where he rose to prominence and became a senior human engineering engineer in 2015. Later, his professional style changed, and Yakovenko took up a new position as a software engineer at Dropbox.

In 2017, Yakovenko started working on a project that would look like Solana. Together with Qualcomm partner Greg Fitzgerald, they launched a project called Solana Labs. To attract a few of Qualcomm's former partners in the process, Solana's protocol and SOL token were released to the public in 2020.

What Makes Solana Different?

One of the most important inventions Solana brought to the table was the historical evidence (PoH) consensus developed by Anatoly Yakovenko. This concept allows for greater protocol measurement, which also increases usability.

Solana is known for its cryptocurrency space because of the surprisingly short processing times provided by a blockchain. Solana's hybrid protocol allows for very limited verification times for both transactions and smart contract execution. During very fast processing times, Solana also attracted great institutional interest.

Solana's protocol is intended to assist temporary users and business customers alike. One of Solana's main promises to customers is that they will not be surprised by the increase in fees and taxes. The protocol is designed in such a way that it has low operating costs while still ensuring fast scalability and processing.

Combined with long-time creative creators Anatoly Yakovenko and Greg Fitzgerald presenting the project, Solana is ranked 7th on the CoinMarketCap list from September 2021.

This came after an impressive bullfight, in which Solana's price gained more than 700% since mid-July 2021. The launch of the Degenerate Ape NFT cluster sent the price of SOL (ATH) more than $ 60, and has been rising since, mainly due to the high level of engineer work in the Solana ecosystem, the great interest of the institution, the growth of the DeFi ecosystem, and the rise of NFT and the vertical gaming in Solana. The price of Solana went up to ATH for $ 216 on September 9, 2021.
