The company Northrop Grumman has published a video with a conceptual image of the new aircraft.
It is very large, unobtrusive, without vertical tail and it could be a new generation fighter.
The US Air Force and Navy are currently working on programs with the same name NGAD (Next Generation Air Dominance).
Both of them involve the creation of a family of systems, the key element of which will be a fighter.
The military did not disclose details on both programs.
Last year, the US Air Force secretly tested a sixth-generation fighter demonstrator designed and built by an unknown American company.
And the US Navy this week released the F / A-XX next-generation fighter-bomber concept, which is being developed as part of their NGAD.
Northrop Grumman posted a video of an airplane hangar on November 1, some of which actually exist and some of which are just concepts.
Among the latter is a large, unobtrusive aircraft without vertical tail, suitable for the description of the fighter of both NGAD programs.
It closely resembles the Model 401 aircraft developed by Scaled Composites, a subsidiary of Northrop Grumman.
Perhaps the demonstrator of the sixth generation fighter, which was secretly tested a year ago, was built by Northrop Grumman.
But even if she is not yet involved in NGAD, she is definitely planning.
