Today I am going to talk about a programming language called Python. In the current tech world, there are huge uses for Python language. Python is widely used for developing websites and software, task automation, data analysis, AI, and data visualization in the real world. Since it’s relatively easy to learn and more user-friendly Python has been adopted by many non-programmers such as accountants and scientists, for a variety of everyday tasks, like organizing finances, etc.

Python is a powerful high-level and object-oriented programming language nowadays in modern technology. Guido van Rasmus is the creator of this programming language. The structure and syntax of this programming language are very simple. As a result, Python is the language of choice for anyone who wants to learn a programming language for the first time in their life. If you are wondering why the name Python? well Python is not named after a terrible snake. Rasam (The creator) was a fan of a comedy series in the 1970s. The name of the series was "Monty Python." So he just kept the name which he liked.

Before we get started, let's get introduced to the Python language. Python is a powerful general-purpose programming language. So it is widely used in everything from web development (eg Django and Bottle) to scientific and mathematical calculations (eg Orange, SymPy, NumPy) and even desktop graphical user interfaces (eg Pygame, Panda3D).

There are so many versions of Python programming language through the years. The last version of Python 3.6 was realized on 23 December 2016.

The syntax of python is very transparent and the length of the code is short also. As a result, working in Python may seem fun to you. Because it will help you to think about the problem without looking at the structure of the code so can highlight your own thinking and creativity without any concern about the syntax. Python has become an old language but still young created by Guido van Rasmus. He first started creating and designing Python in the 1960s, and it was first published in Feb 1991.

Now let's talk about why you should learn Python and its features.

"It is a simple language that is very easy to learn."

Python's syntax is very simple and clean. Python programs are easier to read and write than other languages such as C++, Java, Ruby, Swift, C#, etc. Python is also a newbie-friendly. Because it will help you to solve problems without looking at the syntax of the code. If you are new to the world of programming then starting Python is one of your choices.

"Free and open source."

You can use Python freely for your personal and even business with your purposes. Not only that but also you can change the source code of Python. Python also has a large community that is growing at a light speed day by day.

"Portability and easy to use."

You can take any Python program from one platform to another and you'll be able to run it without any modifications. It runs on most platforms (such as Windows, Linux, and Mac OS) just like its own application.

"Extensible and Embeddable."

Suppose you need a high-powered application so you wish you can combine C / C ++ or any other programming language code with Python code. You'll also be able to do that easily. This feature makes your application also more efficient and more reliable. But in the worst case, other programming languages may not provide this facility.

"High-level and interpreted language."

Python is not like C / C ++ or any other hard language. You don't have to worry about scary things like memory management, garbage collection, pointers, etc. Basically, when you run Python programs in a compiler it will automatically convert your code into computer language. So that you don't have to worry about the low-level operations.

"Lots of great libraries for solving common problems."

Python has its own standard library that makes programming easier. Because if you use the library, you do not have to rewrite all the codes again. Python's standard libraries are constantly tested and used by thousands of people around the globe. So you can be sure that there are no errors/bugs to stop your program.

"Object-oriented programming language."

Everything in Python is an object. You can use your own knowledge to solve complex problems using object-oriented programming and also can reuse your code in your future application buildings.

Conclusion

Python is a really good language to learn in the modern world. The demand for this language is growing day by day. This language is workable in many fields now. Such as web development, Ai, software application, automation, AI, and many more. If you are really wanna be a part of the future world teaching yourself coding will be the best thing to do.
