Parallel Computing is defined as down breaking of large computer problem, parallel computing convert it into smaller, and carried out simultanrously.
It may divided into small problems, and iy will solved into at same time.

Types

• Instruction level
• Data level
• Task parallelism

Parallel computing is same as concurrent computing, they are also used to frequntly tobsolved problems. Parallel Computers are have roughly classified according hard ware that support parallelism which have miluticore,multi processor,MMPs And grids.

This also a collection of integrated and networked softwares and internet that is called computer platforms.

Parallel computing have impotance to grow with increasing usage of GPUs and processors. Usung the power of parallelismcomplete more work than system of CPU.

Advantages and disadvantages

Advantages:

• Sovlve large facts and problems in short time.

• It saves time and it have application of shoter wall clock time.

• You can do many things immediatly by using of computing resources

• we can store massive dat and it have massive data storage and quick computation.

• Can using computing resources on Wide Area Network (WAN).

Disadvantages:

• In the system good cooling technologies are required in the case of clusters.

• It require proper understanding and practice,you are good to goo.

• Extra cost incutred are due to data transfers,thread creation, due to to parallelization.

• Power consumption is too big by artitecture of multicore.
