#Delphi , Object Pascal 's based on an event-driven programming language and the desktop, mobile , web and console software is an integrated development environment (IDE). Delphi has been developed by #Embarcadero #Technologies since 2008.

Delphi has Code Insight code editor, Error Insight real-time error capture and other features. Its main features are; refactoring; VCL (Windows native) and FMX (multi-platform, partial native per platform); integrated debugger for all platforms, including mobile platforms; source code control ( SVN , git and Mercurial ); It is part of RAD Studio which supports third-party components . It has very strong database support. Delphi has a remarkable speed in terms of compilation speed. [3]

Unlike common languages like C# and Swift , a one million line #Delphi project can be compiled in seconds. It compiled the test project consisting of 170,000 lines in seconds. Active development continues and a new version is released every six months with new features and tweaks.
Initial Delphi was developed by #Borland as a quick application tool for #Windows platform and replace #Pascal.
Delphi has added full object-oriented programming (oop)features to the existing language and increased use, development and support of the language. In addition to generics and anonymous methods, which are considered modern language features, string types and native COM port support have been developed.

In 2015, Embarcadero was acquired by #Idera , but the development of products under the Embarcadero brand continued.

On August 29, 2016, Embarcadero Delphi Product Manager Marco Cantu announced in a blog post that Delphi has direct support for #Linux. In his article titled "Delphi comes to congratulate Linux that has completed 25 years", Cantu shared a few images. He shared that the code name of the project is #Godzilla and that the PlatformAssistant Server and Pascal codes compiled in the #Ubuntu operating system were compiled .
