Today I'd like to write on telecommunications, thus on how communications are done within organizations/institutions. Why should their team be concerned about having enough call credit when company results are dependent on crucial communication among team members?

Telecommunication networks have taken care of that problem in the realm of technology, providing a call community that allows your employees to make unlimited free mobile calls or send unlimited free SMS to colleagues for a single monthly fee.

Closed User Group(CUG) calls

A closed user group (CUG) is a type of group that restricts access to only the members of the group. This configuration can be useful in the creation of digital and telecommunications services.
Although CUG might refer to an exclusive service that is intentionally closed to benefit its members, most definitions of it involve limits imposed on the members. CUG members can only make and receive calls within the user group in the telecoms business, for example. A CUG is used by service providers to deliver value for money and to present clients with more options.

What makes me eligible for CUG?

If CUG is listed as a product offering in the corporate package that my company has purchased.
A subscriber has the following options:

• Be a member of at least one closed user group but no more than ten

• Be able to call people outside the closed user group (outgoing access)

• Be able to receive calls from people who aren't members of the closed user group (incoming access)

• Be able to make emergency calls regardless of whether or not they are a member of a group

• Allow members of a closed user group to make calls, both incoming and outgoing.
