Contest: Write a Short Story Taken From Your Life | Covid-19 Edition // My short story with Covid-19.

Hello,

Like all of humanity this pandemic came as a surprise, I never imagined that I would go through a global pandemic experience.

In relation to my experience with this pandemic, I have 3 or 4 times a week to be in a dialysis centre with my dad because he is dialysed and in the afternoon shift renal patients who have Covit arrive, it is a group of about 20 people, this generates in us alert because we have to be aware of each patient who arrives and take preventive measures such as not letting them approach, although we greet them from afar but we are aware of what it means for a renal patient to get sick with Covit we have seen several of them die.

Some Covit patients sometimes forget the safety measures and walk freely around

the centre, causing us stress, so we use mechanisms such as moving away or simply waiting outside the centre until our family member completes their haemodialysis routine and get them out of the place as soon as possible. This story is repeated every week.
