My story goes thus, about six months ago, I received a posting letter to resume as a teacher in a new community and I set out on the journey to begin a new career in this new community.

However, due to a negligence on my part, I resumed in a school with a similar name to the one I was posted to. This in other words means that I resumed in the wrong school due to the fact that I did not notice the slight difference in the name of the school I resumed in and the one I was posted to.

Furthermore, after carrying out my documentations and resuming in the wrong school as a class teacher, the error was discovered three weeks later, and almost cost me the job, because as a teacher, it's important to pays attention to details.

However, I made an appeal that I wasn't familiar with the community and it's environment, and that must have played a role in the mistake that I made. It's important to let you know that my appeal was accepted, and I was asked to continue my job as a class teacher and my posting letter was adjusted to state the wrong school that I actually resumed in.

In conclusion, this situation made me understand the importance in paying attention to details no matter how small there are, and has inspired me to always read through instructions carefully before embarking on executing them as disobedience to an instruction that is well stated could lead to grave consequences.
