Travel To Kakra Railway Bridge

Today I am going to share my wonderful travel experience with you. This railway bridge is located on the Kakra river in Dinajpur and the railway line of this bridge extends to Dinajpur. There are two bridges. Due to problems with the old red railway bridge, another new bridge was built next to it. The bridge was built just a few years ago, probably in 2016 the new bridge was opened. And the previous bridge was many years old.

Travel to Kakra Railway Bridge

Location- Chirirbandar, Dinajpur District, Bangladesh

On 16 December 2021, I travelled to the Kakra Railway Bridge. I travelled to this place with two of my friends. Before I have visited this Railway bridge once, but I couldn't visit the whole area of the bridge. I travelled to this place from Parbatipur. And Chirirbandar is very close to Parbatipur. From Parbatipur, at first, I went to Joshai Bus Stop. From Parbatipur to Joshai bus stop it will cost 20-30 BDT (1 Steem).

At Joshai Bus Stop I meet my friends. I had some light snacks there. Then I left for Chirirbandar with my friends. It takes about 15 minutes to reach Chirirbandar from Joshai. We took a van from Chirirbandar to Kakra Railway Bridge. I went from Parbatipur to Joshai by bus and from Joshai we took a van to reach Chirirbandar. Anyway, we reached Kakra Bridge around noon. The natural beauty of the Kakra river fascinated me the most.

Both the bridges over the river Kakra are very wonderful to look at. The new bridge looks more beautiful than the previous one. I walked over the new bridge, it was a great experience. And the Kakra river is also looked very beautiful to me. We also spent some time on a boat. Many people were fishing in the river by boats, the scenery was so beautiful that they were still floating my eyes. The scenery around the Kakra River is even more spectacular. Beautiful Catkin flowers grow alongside the river. To enjoy the beauty of Catkin flowers you have to visit this place before winter. If I get a chance, I will visit this wonderful place again.
