What's Your Story? Childhood Edition

Childhood they say is filled with memories, memories lasting a lifetime, too beautiful, sometimes sour to forget❕

    -Mine wasn't an exception-

Tops of the year everyone, it really does feel great connecting with y'all.

Growing up in a polygamous setting is crazier than it actually sounds, you don't want to wake up to smell this coffee (believe me).
Floods of unanswered questions were overwhelming.

Okay, lets start afresh ❇❇❇

My name as you know me on this platform is @sikan-eyen. I am in my twenties(can't believe am getting old, lols), a graduate and a steemian.

All i can think of about my childhood is FAMILY.

It was a large family, of step-mums, of siblingssssssssssss, of close and distant cousins, of nieces and nephews.

If i should recount only ugly moments then am telling a lie, so i confess, it was fun , there were always voices, even when am not with them, i hear their voices in my head, we did games, shared chores, washing, cooking and ate together, but not without days of fights, quarrels, hatred and jealousy.

Many days of loneliness, sadness and grief, many days of which my heart wandered and wished i had a normal family... Many long days my friend.

But in all, i am grateful for them because i wondered what life would have been without them all, we threw sweet and bitter pictures into life, i can't trade these for anything as it made me a better person.
